The date is incomplete but enoughof the 03 remains to definitely attribute to this rare date and priced accordingly. (Spink £250 in VF). Very boldly struck, hard to find as good as this. Very Fine. Scottish Three Shillings Scottish Three Shillings. 4th Coinage 1642. Without mark of value but a thistle behind the bust to distinguish it from other denominations. One type only, this is a very scarce coin rarely found better than Fine.

A decent clear example, the apparent fracture seen in scans does not appear to be weak. very bold Fair. S5592 SOLD
